Whispering from the Woods, Installation Buffalo Botanical Gardens, 2017
Web Dance: cob, wire, birch branches, paper clay, acrylic, ebony wood stain This piece is inspired by my fascination with spiders and their webs. The spider has a divine trigonometry built into its DNA. I watched a spider building her web so perfectly while vulnerable and fragile of the fierce wind. Spiders shows tremendous strength because of flexibility and give while remaining firmly attached to their base. Just .Like the spider who weaves its web, we weave our lives our choices construct our lives.
